this set of wire squares and plastic connectors can be configured into a number of shapes, as illustrated, resulting in up to eight cubes each (with five wire mesh walls and one open side). However, the number of wire walls and plastic connectors limits what is possible. For example, we wanted two lines of open boxes for two closets. The materials sent to us made it possible to make two lines of three boxes each with some left over walls and connectors. But these were not enough to add to the lines of boxes. In the end, we used plastic ties to add one box (making one row of four and one of three boxes). We ended up with one extra wire wall.I wrote “customer service” to ask if I could buy a few plastic connectors. I received no reply but I noticed that the company sells 24 connectors for what seemed to me a high price. As I was hoping to get two connectors, cheaply, 24 did not help. I found that the plastic ties worked as substitutes.These boxes are doing their job of helping us organize. But beware that “8 boxes” is true of limited configurations as boxes share sides and connectors. We ended up with seven boxes (in two separate rows) leaving one wire wall extra and substituting plastic ties for two plastic connectors.
