Of course, if the pig is highly agitated, upset, aggressive, or panicked then hand held panels might not be the best choice for controlling and directing the pig(s). In my experience, providing only one path that the pig can see through keeps them going that way. Of course, a large pig can easily overpower a grown man if upset. Keep the pig as calm as possible and use the panels to block its view except for the direction you want it to go in. Get it pig upset and all bets are off.
