Description This 10X triplet loupe delivers clear, distortion-free magnification with the added benefit of an integrated scale that makes it ideal for quickly estimating the size/weight of diamonds. The European-made lens is aplanatic and achromatic with an anti-reflection coating to minimize glare and light interference so that the color of the diamond can be accurately judged. A clear built-in layer on the lens is printed with both a linear scale (12mm/6.5 ct.) and circumference scale for round diamonds (0.5–3.5mm in 0.5mm increments), so you can accurately estimate a stone’s size and weight. To use, place the lens of the loupe against the table of your stone; the loupe’s ergonomic shape and comfortable textured grip ensure secure, effective use. An exclusive locking mechanism protects the lens and allows focus adjustment. The housing of the loupe is solid-grade aluminum with a scratch-resistant coating.
