Description Red Rubin is a sweet basil which grows to a large Italian-style basil with 7 cm magenta coloured leaves which have a strong pleasant clove spice mild sweetness. Red Rubin Basil is a popular choice for purple basil pesto and sauces likewise as addition to salads and suchlike. Non-GMO,  recognised as an Heirloom originated in 1992 from Denmark.
