Abies alba ‘Green Spiral’Weeping Silver Fir Zones 5-8 ’Green Spiral’ is an unusual fir selection. Unlike many other conifers, the central leader on this selection doesn’t grow in a uniform upright fashion. The central leader often twists and curves, creating a spiral like growth habit. This is extremely attractive, but also makes each specimen uniquely different. As our friend Mark Dwyer states, “No two specimens are alike” with ‘Green Spiral’. ‘Green Spiral’ may reach up to 8 ft in height in 10 years. Our ‘Green Spiral’ are likely grafted onto Abies koreana.
