Description Purple Echinacea is a member of the daisy family. Growing 1-2 ft tall producing large showy daisy-like flowers which are 3-4 inches wide. Flowerheads are bright purple fading to pink positioned around a central cone shaped disc of tiny yellowish/brown disc florets. Flowers keep well as cut flowers, stems are often hairy and rough to the touch but are sturdy and upright. Commonly used in herbal remedies for its properties.
